About Us
Who are we?
CoreUAV began with a simple shared passion for drone technology and a desire to support the industries that keep South Australia moving.
Ben’s background as a fitter and turner in the Mining/Quarry industries of South Australia, combined with over a decade of experience with asset integrity inspections and preventative maintenance, meant always looking for faster, safer and more detailed ways to ensure that equipment remained functional without downtime. Combining his love for Adelaide, drone services and the skills he knew best, CoreUAV was born.

Why choose our drone services?
The Power of Precision
At CoreUAV, our mission is to provide Adelaide with drone services that deliver precise data, to make educated decisions that not only impact the effectiveness of your site, but also reduce risk, and ultimately save you money in the long-term.
Your assets are the make or break of turning profit, and using drone technology not only allows for better data, less mistakes due to human-error, and added safety, it allows you to save money on costly machinery, downtime of equipment, and putting personnel at risk – all to achieve a similar result.
Not only does drone technology improve speed of operations, it’s the precision that counts. Drone data captures information that often goes missed, or reaches heights that simply aren’t accessible using other methods. Our drones provide centimetre-level positioning accuracy, in an environment where a few inches of error can mean the difference between an accurate calculation and a costly mistake.

WHAT DRONES DO WE USE?
Utilising the DJI M300 RTK, we’re equipped with a powerful industrial drone that can carry advanced thermal and zoom cameras at the same time. Its built-in RTK system provides centimetre-level precision and protects the drone from magnetic interference near heavy infrastructure.
Using onboard AI, it can automatically replicate the exact same photo angles over time to easily track structural wear and tear. It features a rugged, weatherproof design with a 55-minute flight time and full obstacle avoidance for maximum safety. With advanced thermal technology, its thermal images capture exact temperature data in every pixel, making it easy to spot structural flaws, leaks, or hot spots.

Unlocking Aerial Potential in adelaide
Based here in South Australia, we started CoreUAV to turn what we love into a service that helps our local agricultural and industrial communities. Our goal is straightforward: to provide honest, reliable aerial data that helps you manage your land and equipment more effectively. We are proud to be a local team helping our neighbours see their projects from a new perspective.
